2. Food Allergies & Sensitivities

While we strive to accommodate dietary needs, please be aware:

  • Our kitchen uses common allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, and seeds.
  • Cross-contact may occur despite careful handling.
  • Guests with severe allergies must notify staff when placing an order or booking a retreat.

We offer a variety of gluten-free, plant-based, and dairy-free options; however, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Please speak with a member of our café team if you have any food-related allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions.

3. Raw Dairy Products Disclosure

Our retreat features small-batch, handcrafted goat dairy items made with love on our farm. Some of these may be offered raw (unpasteurized) to retain nutritional integrity and natural enzymes.

Important Notes:

  • Raw dairy may carry a risk of foodborne illness, particularly for individuals with compromised immune systems, pregnant women, children, and the elderly.
  • All guests will be informed at the point of purchase or serving if a product is raw and unpasteurized.
  • Pasteurized alternatives may be available upon request.

By consuming raw dairy products from Blue Oasis Life, you acknowledge and accept this disclosure.

4. Safe Handling of Farm-to-Table Produce

Our fresh produce comes directly from our on-site grow towers and permaculture gardens. To maintain food safety:

  • All fruits, vegetables, and herbs are washed and handled in a sanitized environment.
  • Only potable water is used for cleaning.
  • Harvested goods are inspected and rotated daily to ensure peak freshness.

We do not use synthetic pesticides or chemical preservatives.

5. Onsite Café Hygiene & Handling Practices

Our café staff are trained in:

  • Safe food handling and temperature control
  • Cross-contamination prevention
  • Regular cleaning and sanitization protocols
  • UAE Department of Health food safety regulations

We undergo routine inspections and quality checks to maintain hygiene compliance and guest safety.

6. Packaging, Storage & Takeaway

  • All takeaway containers and food storage packaging used at Blue Oasis Life are eco-friendly and food-safe.
  • Takeaway items should be refrigerated promptly if not consumed immediately.
  • Perishable items, especially dairy and juices, should be consumed within the recommended time frame printed on the packaging.

7. Fermented & Preserved Foods

We offer house-made fermented and preserved wellness items, such as:

  • Herbal tonics
  • Probiotic drinks
  • Goat kefir and yogurt
  • Pickled vegetables

Please note:

  • These products are naturally preserved but may have a limited shelf life.
  • Natural fermentation may cause pressure buildup or changes in taste—this is a normal part of living foods.

By choosing to consume food and beverages prepared and served by Blue Oasis Life, you acknowledge that:

  • You have been made aware of potential allergens and food safety disclosures.
  • You assume full responsibility for any adverse reactions or sensitivities.
